Hey guys, i got a general/important question for y'all

whats the difference between an "honours" degree and a "Bachelor's" degree??
for example, honours psychology vs bachelor of science in psychology

thanksss for any helpp!

A Bachelor's degree is completed in three years, an Honours Bachelors in four...that's the main difference, I think. I guess you study more in a particular field. Also, the Honour degrees have a cut-off CA you have to have if you want admission into the program.

honours is 4 years ba is only three. most grad/professional schools require a 4 year honours degree

so if were to go into level II psych/neuro/behaviour in honours, i'd be able to go to grad school?

But at the same time, remember that you need to keep your CA to an above-cutoff level...it's just not enough to decide your career path.

Honours degree also involves a 4th year project/thesis. And most grad schools will require some sort of undergrad research.

also you can't claim a major for a generals. In general...
