Its an optional assignment where you track what you eat, how much you eat, what time you eat and the macronutrients and micronutrients of what you eat (same for drinks). Then you analyze the data based on the Canadian food guide and with what you learned in the course. It's pretty straight forward if you start early. You don't have to do it for example if you score really high on the midterms then you don't have to worry too much about it. It's defiantly there as an option if you need it. It also has the advantage of taking 5% weight off each midterm (2 midterms) and the exam so 15% total. The exam was pretty straightforward so its your call as to if you would want to do the assignment. -It is possible to score better on the midterms and exam than the assignment without putting a huge amount of time into the course.
