When do we buy books?
This is something that I haven't figured out yet:

When do we buy books/when the lists of which ones we need for each class released?

Not sure when the list is released, but it's before school starts. You may want to wait to buy them though, just to make sure the prof doesn't change them, and that you actually need them.

Either the week of Welcome Week or a week before that, the profs post the list on the Titles (the campus bookstore) website. You can find it at http://titles.mcmaster.ca/text/departments.htm. That page will also tell you the price of each book and the number of new and used books in stock.

So don't worry about it now, but check as it gets closer to the first day of school
