I have heard that since the government will be giving us a rebate on tuition prices every year, we no longer have this scholarship. Is this true? I am worried about not being able to maintain this scholarship I have gotten for my first year since my grades are lacking, but would my efforts to get the necessary GPA to maintain this scholarship be in vain?

Getting a high GPA is never in vain, but the QEII scholarship will subtract from the 800 you receive a semester

If you already receive the scholarship, you will continue to receive it. The program won't be accepting new applicants for the upcoming term.

Provided you meet the original requirements for maintaining your scholarship, yes you will still have it renewed. However, if you do not, the scholarship will not be renewed. Additionally, 2011 was the last year it was offered. There will be no QEII for new applicants in 2012.
