Do you believe in Karma?
Do you believe that there is some form of justice that is beyond our control?

To be fair, you believing in it doesn't make it any more or less real.

I'd have the security of a delusional reality that something good is coming my way. Happiness is only a mindset not an outcome due to environment.

Westernized 'karma' is a mix of the original and the judeo-Christian belief in cosmic justice and superstition.. Originally it was essentially: do good, and the world will be good, and that good may return to you. There's no belief aspect to that, it's called society. If you area good person you very likely will reap the reward, but it won't cure cancer or any of that nonsense.

Not really. I believe there are good people and bad people, and good things happen and bad things happen and there really isn't any sense to it.

I wouldn't say karma came from judeo-Christian beliefs...I'd argue the idea came from eastern religions.
To op: no, since the way many people view "karma" is pretty hind-sighted, which is 20/20

No, that was RyanC's point.
Karma isn't a Judeo-Christian idea, but what many people in the West think of as "karma" is a combination of the traditional Eastern concept of karma, along with ideas borrowed from Judeo-Christian beliefs, namely that if you do something good, there is something (possibly god, depending on your beliefs) making sure something good happens to you to repay you.

Judeo-Christian belief in and of itself borrows from the concept of karma... If you do good in this world, you'll be rewarded with good (heaven). Evildoers go to hell. Seems pretty similar to me.

Yes.
Whenever my dad treated my mom poorly, we noticed that things would go terribly for him until he apologized (and by that I mean more than him getting in his way because he feels guilty. I mean random, unanticipated things happening that he has no control over that ruins his day). After more than a decade of this cycle, I'm pretty set on believing that there is some kind of force that prevents my dad from getting away with behaving badly.
