What do you use as an organizer?
In high school, I always used an agenda the school gave us to organize myself and write down my tasks, homework, plan everything out, etc.

In University, I will have a laptop so I can do that all electronically. Just wondering though, what are some of the programs you use on your laptop as a personal organizer / agenda?

Or do some of you still use an agenda book?

I still use a good old agenda book. I always get the one from mac with the mac logo engraved on it the cover. I sometimes use my iPhone too, there are a couple apps that are good for planning so I can set alarms for when stuff is due. I never use my laptop though. I guess I prefer using sticky notes and highlighters .

I personally still use an agenda style organizer. I like it more then using a computer, because this way you dont have to have your computer on you all the time, or constanty turn it on -- just to check a few things.

Also, at Titles they have many different types of organizers, so you are bound to find one there that you like. I always get mine from Titles, and depending on which one you buy, they are'nt too expensive.

I used to love using those windows sticky notes but with Windows 7, they changed them so there's now an icon for them stuck on the taskbar which annoys me and they actually slow down my computer. :\ It's like the application is takes up more memory or something...or it could just be my computer.

I don't mind the icon. I have my taskbar on the left so the icons don't take much space. I can probably fit 20 different icons on the taskbar, after that I don't know what happens since I've never had more than 20 icons pinned/opened.

As for memory, it says it takes 3000K and each new note is 150-200K depending on size. Writing in the notes doesn't appear to take up more memory. To put it into perspective, it doesn't even raise my physical memory usage by 1%. I have a 2GB RAM.

lol Wow it must be my computer then. Aghhh. It's brand new and even the smallest applications slows it down or it stops responding. I have 4GB of RAM too. :|

I use a corkboard for assignments and other important information. Then I have my agenda where I'll write what is due certain days and what tests are coming up. Personally I would recommend getting a weekly agenda

My head. Very seldom do I forget something and, even if I do, it comes back with at least a night or more left until due date.
