Do you have uncontrollable worry, anxiety or tension about day-to-day matters like:- Your finances?
- Health?
- Getting things done?
- The future?
- Relationships
Do friends and family members say you worry too much?
Do you have three or more of the following:- headaches, fatigue, stomach aches, difficulty concentrating, diarrhea, insomnia, muscle tension, irritability and/or restlessnes
You may be eligible to participate in a medication study in the treatment of GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER. You must be 18 to 65 years old and in good health.

I honestly think more people have GAD than any of us realize. Many, many high achievers have anxiety problems and I think it's part of the reason they are so productive for a lot of them. If you're high functioning with GAD, then a daily med could actually be destructive for you, as it was for me about four years ago. I now take fast-acting drugs to deal with panic attacks and am off daily meds, and I would advise anybody diagnosed with GAD to consider whether they truly need meds... Some will, of course, but many others will actually be hurt by them. If you don't need it, don't do it.
