Hi,
I'm working on a docu-styled film series and actively looking for self-identified artists interested in sharing their story on camera. The project seeks to explore how young, aspiring creatives feel about MOVEMENT IN ART-topics include:
constantly moving, not staying stagnant, travelling into differ categories of art
traditional binaries of art (high brow/low brow) and their affect on the artist's work and identity
movement in terms of physicality- dance, brush/pen strokes and the power that arises etc.
WHATEVER comes to mind when you hear "movement in art"
(Note: Artists include, but are not limited to, dancers of any and all genres, fine artists, street artists, fashion designers, photographers, musicians, actors, etc). If you feel comfortable sharing your story, passions, set-backs, triumphs, and are interested in potentially being apart of this project, email us at
[email protected] with brief description of who you are, your feelings towards 'movement in art' and supplementary photos/video links to your work.
LAST DAY FOR SUBMISSION IS FEBRUARY 28TH at 11:59pm.
