Depending on the breed, it may not be possible.
My old bunny was obese, and she was on a regulated diet.

I got totally ripped off, it was suppose to be a "neatherland dwarf rabbit"

Bought it from a pet store did you?
You can always tell how big a rabbit will get by the size of the ears. Teeny ears = dwarf.
