No just feeding off off the adrenaline given off by all the engineers playing their PC games

Well you are walking from one library to another, thus being exposed to the oxygen in the air - that might explain why you feel so refreshed when you walk into thode

I doubt they pump in oxygen.
It's probably because the floors everyone goes to in Thode are open to each other. The second floor is open at the sides and suspended over the first, meaning they share the same air. Also, the path to the front doors is pretty much directly in front of where everyone is, unlike Mills where it's a bunch of turns. Air might get exchanged more frequently when people enter/exit because of that.
So ya, there might be 'more oxygen' because the air gets exchanged more frequently.
I have no idea if that's true or significant enough though. Just a theory.

wtf simon literally just stole my question i asked him word for word right down to the comment
I do think theres something about Thode though. Must be the lighting on second floor, roomy atmosphere, solid air flow and the contagious studying of everyone around you.
Whats the deal with there being 2000 desk spaces and 200 desk chairs though. Who was responsible for buying all that new furniture? They did a badass job of maximizing study space. Library used to suck

I feel more sleepy in Thode. Hate the lighting in there. Mills is worse though.

So that's why people in Group Study areas are so rude and loud, they are high on oxygen.
