I'm having major problems dealing with 4 gate *******s, how do I deal with those? I play toss but I refuse to counter with my own 4 gate and usually go 3 gate robo or stargate. Should I wall off against toss and force field turtle? Also my macro game is way bad, how do I know it's a good time to secure that 3rd or 4th base? Should I be posting my army at my expos or my main? When it's time to add additonal gates/bays should I be making them in my main or natural or expos?

Doesn't the new patch address this by increasing warp gate research time and reducing sentry production time?

To Twelve Chars: the army should be in front of your bases slowly pushing up, unless you're facing a hyper aggressive Z or T that are using nydus/drops.

You can make extra gateways wherever you want, it really doesn't matter as long as you have your army in between his army and your production structures.

As for 4 gate, you have an extra 20 seconds now, plus sentries without warp gates come out faster, so you should be fine to forcefield the ramp for at least 15-30 seconds while your first immortal or whatever comes out and you continue pumping out units.

I quit sc2. The game is a diamond in the rough and needs time...too tired of relearning strategies and timings from every patch plus all the little things =(

I will revisit this game in a couple months/years....hell who am I kidding, you never quit sc2.
