As far as the second thing goes, I'm going to stick to my stance from last week. I get that you think that's because I don't have diabetes and therefore know nothing about it, but if that were the case and I wanted to prove to you that I had it - I could just Google it. So really, me not answering that proves nothing.

The doctor him / herself drew your blood. That's quite unusual. You know they are not paid to do that the hospital is. The doc doesn't work for the hospital (like a nurse or phlebotomist )
but bills MOHLTC independently
No you can't really google it that easily unless your intent is to come up with an inept answer

It could have been worse! Try to be positve and think of all the horrible things that could have happened but didn't.

The doctor may have been a resident. I've had a resident take blood on me before. They are salaried and don't bill.

I have only had a MD draw an ABG on me as only MDs and RTs can. Generally, I would rather have a person who draws blood on a regular habitual basis draw blood from me.
It does not really sound like she was at a teaching hospital.
To take your reasoning a step further it could have been a clerk, and I realize they often don't introduce themselves as clerks and are assumed to be MDs

I kind of don't believe you. This sounds too ridiculous to be true.

You madam, are the most amusing female poster here.
On that note, I'm sorry about your suffering. I'm pretty ****ing clumsy too, so I can't even stand properly without injuring myself.

I thought of the exact same thing. I would be freaked out if one of my own pets licked my open wound, forget some wild animal.

pets are generally vaccinated but wild animals especially foxes, raccoons, and dogs can have rabies.
