nice. not the best lecturer since its his 2nd year teaching but he does make the effort to go slow/make things clear. IMO go to childs/mclean for lectures and ben/ mclean for 1on1help

Not using a calculator is difficult at first, but all the questions are solvable without one assuming you know the material. Since all of the tests are multiple choice, thats so you cant solve questions backwards or take a guess, you have to know what your doing.

After a while, i actually like not using a calculator.

As i said before, trig is the least of your concerns. I would practice trig now if you are that worried about it or look up videos on youtube, make sure they are by patrickjmt and he got me through most of the math i didnt understand

Ben was horrible, he was always like 2 classes behind the other profs. When it came time for a test, the other classes would be doing review while we were still covering course material. I eventually stopped going to math class because of Ben. Don't get me wrong, he seemed like a nice guy. I had Mclean for 1ZC3 and he was one of the top two professors I had 1st year.

Ben is great. He knows how to keep the class' attention and make the class interesting. His examples can be kinda long, but if the students dont understand, he'll do another example. He is very aware of his students. Great Prof!
