Dropping a Course
Hey – Hopefully someone can help me out…

If I were to drop a course today, before writing the exam, I understand:

1. Obviously I will get no money back
2. The course will appear on my transcript as “Fail”

Are these the only two penalties, or does the mark somehow affect your GPA?

And if so, how would they calculate the grade?

Thanks in advance.

a 0 will be included into the calculation of your CA, your better off working hard and trying to pass the course.

It would be the same as failing the course without dropping. You might as well give it a try since there is no harm in doing so.
