Dropping a course after deadline
Hey guys,
I'm struggling with a course that I am in and I want to drop it but I know that it's already past the deadline for dropping courses without academic penalty. However, if I talk to the academic advisor would it be possible to extend the deadline so I can drop it without having it show up on my transcript? Note, my professor has not released any marks yet and I've only had one midterm up until now but I just feel extremely unconfident that I would be able to get a good mark in this course and that this course will just drag me down academically.

I recently cancelled a course after the deadline but I had a legit medical excuse and a doctor's note. Unless you have a legitimate reason, your chances are slim.

If you have actually received no marks back (0% of your final grade has been determined), then you may have a legitimate reason.
