You'll find out when midterms are once classes start. Your professors will let you know sometime in September, I think.

And nope there is no time off around midterms. Some classes have them during your regular class time, some have them at night, some classes have more than one midterm, etc. No class is the same so they don't have a time period for midterms (well they do but it's within like a 2 month span).

Certain faculties can expect to have at least one midterm a week for most weeks.

^ That was first year science.

In later years, you just get 4 in a single week. =p

Yeahh, midterms are all random like. I think all of mine took place during class time. It sucks, having midterms and assignments due at the same time.

1-4 midterms a week?

I remembered it as having a test every friday night at 7p.m. This caused me to miss my graduation for high school :(

Yeah in first year it was like, after the first month, a test EVERY week pretty much, then exams, then like 2 weeks off, back to school, month of classes, then BOOM, tests every week again. Haha :(

I just think of them as tests, because in certain classes, they come so often!

Sometimes they even start in september and go to the last day of allowed tests (right before exams)

First term we had tests every week, from the end of sept till the end of nov, but there was 1 week we didnt have a test.

Second term, test dates were random, once we had 3 in a week, and 5 in a span of 2 weeks.

In first year I had five exams in six days! People said I looked ghoulish afterwards.
