Econ 1b03 term 1 day is full :(
i wanted to take econ 1b03 during term1 during the day but i got into solar late and and only options left was the evening class which is 3 hours long from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Is it still possible for me to get into the day class even though its full? When do people start dropping out of classes?

you have over 2 months to get in still. it isnt hard to get into large classes like that. relax and try another day.

The night class is the better option. No one pays attention in class anyways, so you can just chill on your laptop. Night class usually ends either half an hour or an hour early for this course. And it saves you having three additional one hour lecture slots in your timetable throughout the week

The night class is a WAY better option. I'm 99% sure this course is also podcasted so if you need to miss a couple of evenings it's not the end of the world. I take a couple of night classes every semester because my schedule works so much better that way.

Wait, I'm confused. Is the night class the better option?

I thought it would be easier to just finish all my classes in the day so I can work in the night?

Depends on you. I find taking a night class each semester makes my schedule MUCH more manageable (and then you can work maybe one day a week, or a shift that begins earlier).

By the 2nd week the class will be half empty. Even if u don't register for day class just attend those lectures if it's easier for you, it's the same material.

I just heard that the night class for this course is much tougher than the day one.
Also you can attend classes your not registered for?

The night class is done by a different prof so she might choose to make her tests harder. As far as the material goes it's the same. If you're registered for evening class, you just have to make sure you go to the correct times and rooms for midterms and exams but for lectures they can't track which one you go to. Some people don't go to classes at all and podcast it instead. Just figure out what works for you the best and make it easy on yourself.
