Hey guys,
I really want third party opinions on this. I'm in first year Computer Science, and I tried to to take ASTRON 1F03 as an elective, but had to settle for CHEM1A03 since astronomy was full. After the first class, I am kinda having second thoughts about the program. It looks extremely hard, and adding to that, I only got an 80% in high school chem. After reading a few of the review materials posted, I was COMPLETELY lost (well not really) coz I couldnt answer a lot of the questions.
Recently, while surfing SOLAR (yes i do that) I found out that ASTRON 1F03 is open and perfect for my schedule. I think ASTRON is pretty interesting and I am willing to take it even if it is a bit hard.
But what do you guys think? Should i stick with CHEM or go with ASTRON???

Do you have a reason to take chem? If not, take what interests you instead. You'll probably do better and be less stressed.

From what I've read so far, I'd take astronomy.

I dont have a reason to take chem. I just thought that the course would help me in the future. Nothing more than that

Definitely go with what interests you!! Chem 1A03 is great if you like that sort of thing, and want to take more chemistry in the future. But if not, it's a pretty tough course, so not worth it imho!
