Electrical Engineering 4th year streams
Hi!
I was hoping someone could help me with the 4th year elect. streams. I know you can select power, communications, micro-controllers...etc as a stream but which courses pertains to which major!!! I find the elect. course description is too vague when it comes to selecting the final year course selection. I couldn't find any official description of it either, just a description of all the technical electives on this site....

http://www.ece.mcmaster.ca/documents...lectiv es.pdf

I would be really gratefully if someone can link which courses are necessary to take to get the specific major.
Thanks a lot!

They aren't really streams, you can pretty much take whatever interests you. If you are interested in power you can take all the power courses, if you aren't sure you can take a mix. You can find more information about all the courses on the undergraduate calendar

You get technical electives, otherwise you're pretty much the same as any other elect eng.
I would suggest taking things to further your exposure to a wide range of courses, rather than what you think you'll need.
