Elm
I went on webct and noticed on the announcements that LTRC will be migrating from webct to ELM. Has anyone used ELM, and how does it compare to webct?

no one has used it, unless you signed up for the Beta
It's a web service similar to WebCT, created by the same company as WebCT iirc

Alright, thanks
Do you know how it looks though? Are there any screenshots or tutorial videos?

WebCT was supposed to switch over to Blackboard this year.
I'm wondering if it did change and none of us noticed, or if that was just a proposal to change it.
Thus, me being cynical about it changing to Elm

WebCT and ELM are both Blackboard services. Blackboard merged with WebCT a few years ago. ELM is one of their newest products.

we're also using it for CHEM 1AA3. Its kind of messy but then again the Prof is getting used to it. But I think its okay. I prefer webCT as of the moment. There's some more info on elm if anyone wants to check it out

yeah i agree with it being messy. I'm not really used to it and it has a stalker-esque feature of showing who's online lol.

I'm looking forward to getting to try it out. Hopefully it won't be worse than WebCT.
