You forget science already has a standardized outfit, but mixing your idea in isn't so bad:

Just a single-rainbow labcoat. Not bad. It would be better doubled...

My god, look how much more intelligent it makes you look! I for one will be boycotting the plain white coats until the faculty comes to it's senses.

they actually do that since many of the more common dyes are flammable or will react with some of the chemicals you handle in the lab. I was told that when I asked the Science Society if I could borrow the stencil for the science faculty logo to spray paint it onto the back of my lab coat.

Look familiar?
Sure it's not as well known as the fireball, but it's still pretty darn cool.

Actually not at all. I will keep an eye out for it.
Good to know engineers aren't the only ones that get a logo

Where were you for all the science events during reading week?
What about the lanyard/usb key science gave everyone with the logo on it?

Don't worry about it. The lanyard is not that good. It's pretty much just the logo, with "McMaster Science" plastered on it in a font, which, in my opinion, is dreary, and repeats in a pattern about 3-4 times. I just use it because I'm too cheap to use something else.
