Hi, I am a first year eng student. I am a bit confused about textbooks so I contact couple people for books and they told me that one book can be used for couple courses like math 1za3 textbook can be used for 1zb3 and same with physics. Is it true? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yes this is true. the textbook for math 1za3 and 1zb3 are the same (stewarts calculus early transcendals) and for physics 1d03 and 1e03 is the same (physics for scientists and engineers)

Yes, the 1ZC3 textbook is different from the textbook used for 1ZA3 & 1ZB3. You could probably get it used from an upper year at the book swap You don't necessarily need a new textbook (a pdf would work just fine too).

You can download it online (Elementary Linear Algebra 10th ed. by Anton). But that's at your own risk.
