ENGINEER 1A00 1 D Requisite Problem ASAP
I'm currently in mugsi choosing my courses for Engineering 1, but the course "ENGINEER 1A00 1 D" is giving me a problem saying ... "You do not have the academic requisites for course: ENGINEER 1A00 1 D", but i checked over the course and you don't need a prerequisite.
Any suggestions please, and ASAP.

Also more info to note.. i'm transferring from Biotechnology (Faculty of Engineering) to Eng 1..dunno if that has anything to do with it...

which course do you need eng 1a00 for and did you have any other problems

It says all students registered in the Faculty of Engineering must register in course Engineer 1A00 and it won't let me finish my course selection without it.

im guessing you have eng teach 1a00.. its an anti req for eng 1a00. there nothing you can do tonight

If you've already taken SCIENCE 1A00 or ENG TECH 1A00 or other similar "courses," they're all the same. They're just safety training for labs, really. I think the advisor is going to say that you already have a credit in an equivalent course and just waive that for you, personally. Still, best to ask and be sure.

why are you picking eng 1 courses now? registration opens on the 29th for you guys....unless im missing something |

He's transferring from Biotech to Eng I, so he's technically a 2nd year and course selection is this week for 2nd years.. He's just switching into ENG as a first year student.

Go into McMaster if you can, your email will probably get lost among the billions of other persons trying to email her. She was out sick yesterday last I was in, and its not certain she will be in tomorrow. Maybe Jeanie (or whatever her name is, shes the academic advisor for 2+ eng yrs) can answer your question, there was only 3 people in for advising when I went in at 140pm.

Problem about that is, I can't lock in my selection of courses without ENG 1A00. When i "Verify Changes & Check Conflicts" i get this message " Students registered in the Faculty of Engineering must register in course Engineer 1A00. Please add this course to your record and re-verify your selections. (B-TECH students please use ENGTECH 1A00)", but i already did ENG TECH 1A00, so it won't let me choose ENG 1A00.
I emailed them already but i'm doubting on getting a reply, and visiting Mac doesn't seem to be an option for me atm. I'm just worried my 7-day choosing period will expire.. then i'll have to wait til SOLAR opens for everyone..there goes my choices for electives  |
