Just to add, the course is very reading intensive. Plus since its an english course, u need to have pretty good essay skills.

i just took this course last sem, the breakdown was like this:
-short essay (500 words): 15%
-then you had to workshop it within tutorial: 5%
-then you had to expand on this same essay and make it 750 words: 20%
-every week there was about 2-3 articles and you had to submit a summary of the article +discussion questions about it: 10%
-tutorial participation: 10%
-and the last thing in this class was that you either had to make a culture jam +write a 250 word reflection on it or write a 500 word reflection on an already made culture jam: 10%
also, if it's the same courseware as it was last semester i can sell you for a good price since it was pretty pricy at titles (i think it cost about $85)

Is it still possible to get a 10+ in this class? I've heard the class got harder but I'm unsure.
