Enviro 1B03 vs. Anthro 1AA3? :)
Hey, first off, out of curiosity, I was wondering if Biology "Biodiversity, Evolution, and Humanity" at all overlaps with Enviro 1B03 "Environmental Systems?"

Anyhow, right now, I'm choosing between Environmental Sciences second semester (Prof. Bernier) and Anthropology 1AA3 (a new course with prof. Prowse).
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions here..?

I really want my electives to be a 12 - I'm willing to work, of course, but I just want to know if that's manageable with 1B03 which I hear VERY mixed reviews about (I have 1G03 first semester). I was wondering if anyone had any comments about these professors and their teaching styles (how are their lectures, midterms, labs, and exam? :/)

I'm just worried that I'll get stuck with a course that's hard to understand, heavy work load, and leaves me with a low mark as well because of how hard the labs, exam, etc. are.

Any comments/suggestions?
Thank you so much =D

I can tell you that I took 1A03 with Bernier (Taking 1B03 this year) and I really liked him, very straight forward, tells you how to do well, and the material is quite manageable in terms of interest level.

With respect to getting an 11 or 12, do you think that's manageable with his tests/labs/midterms/exam? I've heard they were rather hard and it wasn't that great. :/
Thank you for your help

you already made a topic like this and had a sufficient answer regarding 1b03.

also, why do you want your electives to be 12? dont you want all your courses to be 12? first year science content is easy unless you take physics 1ba3 lol and i think getting a 12 is possible in any course. u could also fail any course. so ur mark will range from 0-12 in all classes.

Yeah but I figured it'd be good to see the responses with respect to anthro

And yeah, of course but I mean anyone can say its preferable that the courses aren't killer. I just want to make sure its possible.

Thanks though =)
