Hi everyone, I'm currently a grade 12 student and I applied to the Environmental and Earth Sciences program at Mac! As of midterms, my average is 83, which satisfies the anticipated grade range for admission (low 80's). But on E-Info, the target enrollment only says 70 students for this program! How is this possible?! I know that not many people apply to enviro sci but 70 is such a small number of people :|

Does anyone know of any students who got into that program (this year or in the past)? If so, what were their averages? Also, do you think I have any chance of getting in? :O

70 isn't really that small. It also has to do with how popular the program is - how many applicants. Your "chances" depend on the averages of everybody else applying.

Don't worry about the number 70. It is a target and not the final number of people accepted. A lot of people have no idea what this program entails and have no exposure to this type of thing so the program isn't super popular. If the anticipated grade cutoff is low 80's then you should be fine, they account for the typical number of applicants etc. when making this estimate. If you want more info feel free to pm me.
