Errors on Mac Website
Wells, it's the eve of the first day of term two.
And I'm unable to access my timetable through MUGSI, nor am I able to access the look-up timetable. All I get is an Internet Explorer error, and I've tried to view it using three separate computers.

It's a bit of a pain, because all I'm trying to do is find the class location of ENG 2R03 (Monsters & Magic) but I can't find it anywhere.

Is anybody else experiencing any problems with the Mac website right now?

EDIT: Finally, after 4 hours, it's working.
Still, it's pretty upsetting to have it malfunctioning the day before a term starts.

It's not working because there are so many people trying to access the site at the same time. It's the same thing every year.

Next year, access your time table before the night before classes start. Then you won't have said issue. OR, you can always use the master course time table to look up where and when your courses are, provided you remember what they are.

There are 18 000 people that go to Mac...and I'd say a lot of them (if not most) do the same thing you guys were/are.

MUGSI gets easily overloaded. It happens every year. Best thing to do is to login at odd times like... really early in the morning when most students are sleeping in (usually if you go on before 9am its not busy) or going on later in the evening after dinner time (after 4pm is usually when it frees up again).

Also, note that the scheduler, timetable, and mugsi are on three separate servers. So when you go mugsi.mcmaster.ca, first try your "Undergraduate Personal Timetables" which will show you the scheduler. If that's not working, then try the McMaster Timetable system (which also shows you the room number but takes longer to look it up) -- at https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /mtt/
