Is there any decent site that lists all the events going on at McMaster?

(like things from posters throughout school, etc)

I always seem to miss random things i want to go to..

on facebook.

They bombard me with messages of what's going on. Remember to join the group or w/e.

There's a Facebook group called McMaster University Campus Events, if you join they'll send you messages all the time letting you know what's going on on campus.

"An error occurred while trying to join the group."

TBH, the MSU website has an events calendar. It's not very great or complete by any means but its probably the most comprehensive one there is at the moment.

If things work out a certain way and the bid by myself and SRA Humanities Matt Dillon Leitch to convince the UTS to replace MUSS with Google Apps Suite is successful pretty soon everyone will have access to a Google Calendar linked to their MacId email account.

Henceforth within your calendar you will be able to have several layers. And I envision faculty societies and MSU & Campus Events all having their own calendar layers you can subscribe to and make them appear on your daily calendar!

At any given time you will be able to see ALL of what is going on campus in just one single calendar!

It will be the most awesome thing ever! Stay tuned

While I like that post, I know never to get too hopeful about anything. Less disappointing when it doesn't happen.

Yeah, that looks pretty good. I look forward to the google thing though..

Good point; on the other hand though Google has a very proven track record and you don't normally hear stories about Google Failing all that much and all universities who have moved to Google Apps have had highly positive experiences.

ELM on the other hand was under control of our very own UTS after they bought the license from Blackboard and tried to run/modify/patch it!
