This Wednesday, February 10th 2010 is the final weekly engagement night before reading week!
Time: 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm
Place: JHE Grad Lounge (Rm 328)
This week we will be discussing Engineers Without Borders overseas South African Programs (we work in Ghana, Malawi, Burkina Faso & Zambia)
Come out if you want to learn more about the programs, along with Mac's JF program (junior fellowship). Our executive elections are coming so if you want to get more educated & involved join us to learn more
IMPORTANT NOTE: The funding of our Junior Fellowship Program will potentially be subject to a referendum that coincides with the SRA general elections taking place in March so if you want to learn more about the JF program to make an informed choice regarding the referendum come out, post a reply to this thread, drop by our office (JHE B136) or send an email to
[email protected] .
One final note: A common misconception of EWB and therefore the JF program is that it is exclusively for students in the faculty of Engineering, this is NOT the case at all! Any student of McMaster can join and is welcome!
If you can't come out I still highly encourage you speak to us about the JF program and the coming referendum so you can make an informed decision.
