Failed Chem 1AA3, but still enrolled in Chem 2OA3...
Hello,
I took Chem 1AA3 this summer, and I failed it, but according to MOSAIC, i'm still enrolled in Chem 2OA3, does this mean that I can still go ahead and take the course even though I missed a pre-req?
Thank you!

I know, this is ridiculous! I dropped from a 12 to a 10 cuz of that stupid exam, and I thought I did pretty good in the exam too.. I dont know, there is NO WAY I got 10 questions wrong in that exam. You cant take 2OA3, but I am strongly entertaining the idea that they messed up the exam answers, at least on our version of the test.

That exam was not hard, and I am pretty sure that I got 1-2 questions wrong, not 10! I think many people share the similar concern.

You might still be able to take it if you get a waiver from the Chem department. Talk to someone in the chem department and they might be able to help you out!

I highly doubt they'd give a waiver because 1AA3 largely deals with organic chem, and if you failed that, why on earth would anybody expect you to do well in 2OA3?
It's not one of those pre-reqs that is meant to keep the class size down; you actually need to know and understand the material from 1AA3 to do 2OA3.

Hey buddy, some good news! Check avenue update, they screwed up marking our exams. They screwed up a couple of our marks, they gave me a 10, lol.. There was no way I made 10 mistakes, I made 3 mistakes, went from 73% in exam to 94%. Now, back to 12. I hope you had a similar luck.

Check avenue, not mosaic. They said it takes some time to update mosaic.
