ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THEY CHANGED THE BOOK FOR PSYCH 2AA3 AGAIN?! They just changed it last year and forced us to buy the new one for $140!!
There should seriously be legislation against changing the book during a certain amount of time! Students are being completely ripped off by not being able to sell their books back or buy used books.

They have new Psych1X03/1XX3 books every year too. And they barely change anything :/

I completely agree with you lol.
There I was thinking that I'd be able to use my Biochem 2EE3 text for Biochem 3G03, but nope they decide to change the freaking book.
I also wanted to borrow my friend's ecology textbook and they decided to change that one too!

That's the risk you take - buying textbooks. They aren't always necessary, IMO. I have never bought a textbook for a math course - I have gotten a 12 in the maths I have taken (no e-brag).
Definitely concede with your point, it is unfair! Such is life, though (unfair).

Its even worse at other schools, I think my friend at UOIT said changing textbooks every year is normal...
Side note: L. Blankfein don't know if that is your real name, if so, you have the same name as the CEO of Goldman Sachs (aka the most powerful man on wall street).

I did not know that. I would say Jamie Dimon is the most powerful man on the street.

While that may be the case for math courses, there are lots of courses where textbook material is tested and that material is not taught in class. In Psych 2AA3 there are test and exam questions based on specific textbook paragraphs, so you do need the textbook.
Not to mention, the MSU had some specific rule against professors making online access codes mandatory for completing any portion of a course, so there should at least be a similar kind of rule for textbooks.
@also at the earlier comment someone said about intropsych, the handbook is only 29.99 so it's not as big of a deal as a prof changing the textbooks each year when they cost over 120 dollars. And I think the textbook was changed to a physical copy because of the technical difficulties and bad reviews people had for accessing the ebook.

It wouldn't matter them changing textbooks every year if the price didn't undergo an annual exponential increase in price.

this too! I was wondering why a number of books were listed with higher prices than they were being sold for last year!
