Firefox 3.6
Is it just me, or is it bloody slower? My browser's been having crazy lag spikes for the last 24 hours now, since I installed it. :@ Anyone else experience this, or does god just hate me.

Lol, opera...get chrome for speed. But if you don't want to change browsers you could always try to uninstall-reinstall or search "speed up firefox " on google. Also, did you try rebooting?

How about I already have 5 browsers and want to use firefox, kthx.

@Adrian: Yes, I did reboot. ;P

Edit: Anywho, not really looking for a solution, just wondering if it's just me or not.

3.6.2 here, didn't notice any issues so far.

Now only if goddamn noscript stopped releasing a new version every other day...

Opera 10.5 is faster than Chrome.

Also, lawley, get rid of extensions. Extensions are death to performance.

Don't have any except for AdBlock.

Doesn't matter, I switched back to 3.5.9 or whatever. xD I hate progress. Thanks though. ^^

Still, it's strange. 3.6 should by all means be faster (the engine runs a lot quicker in performance tests).

Did you try exporting bookmarks somewhere, uninstalling the old version, and starting from scratch? Usually does the trick for me.

Also, I'm curious, what OS are you running?

Vista. ;P

And no, I didn't do that. I've got over 1000 bookmarks, I don't like to risk losing them all. XD

Get the "Memory Fox" add-on

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/53880

It supposed to recover Firefox memory leaks by automatically flushing & recovering fragmented orphaned RAM

Afzal, lawleypop all say thanks to MacEng for this post.
