first year engineering textbooks. will buy!
hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone on here is willing to part with their (hopefully recent) textbooks for first year engineering. I really dont want to have to buy all of the textbooks from the bookstore at an insanely high price. Thanks!

Also, at this book swap evening, how recent are the textbooks and what are the chances i could get all of my textbooks there? I just dont want to go there with no textbooks and come back empty handed..

Hey,
I'd be willing to sell you my 1C03 textbooks and my 1ZA3, 1ZB3 solutions manuals for 75% of the Bookstore used book price.
I won't be in Hamilton until Monday Sept 2nd, though

There is a huge chance that you can get all of your first year books from the bookswap. I strongly recommend going to it as you will save a lot of money on books. I spent $1000 on books in first year (all new) and friends that went to book swap spent about $400 or less!

BUY USED ALWAYS>

Like Erin above I paid in full for all the first year books. Complete waste of money. Your academics will NOT suffer by getting used books...even if the editions are really old.

Also there is a macinsiders marketplace for this.

You should buy an iClicker before your first 1D04 and 1D03 classes because they use them in physics and programming a lot. And it is pretty likely that you will get the majority of your books especially the big ones like chem, physics and math because you don't need those books in second year so tons of people will be selling them.

Is there a bookswap for Life Science students?
Are the books at the ETB sold in bundle or individually?
Can anyone come and sell their books or just engineering students?

Macinsiders marketplace
facebook mcmaster used book groups
buy textbooks online
go to book swap.
You can easily get the books <400 for the whole year especially with many selling. Don't buy new. Check the sources in that order especially those packages to get everything you need.
