Flex Plan OSAP: Initial payment due by Sep. 15 or Sep. 30?
In my Payment Agreement, it says that 60% of the Net Fees is due by September 30th.
However, I was reading this 2013-14 Newsletter from the Student Accts & Cashiers Office
http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/p...ter_fall.p df
^and it says that the 60% is due by Sep. 15th.

So do I follow what's in my PA, or what's in that newsletter? :S

Also, just curious, what happens if the initial payment (the minimum payment) *doesn't get paid by the said deadline?

Thanks!

Hi Hogwarts,

I believe that the deadline for your first 60% is due by September 30th, at least according to the Flex Plan Agreement form. If you are paying through your Student Account, Student Accounts and Cashiers process Accounts in the third week of every month.

If I were you, I would visit Gilmour Hall and talk to Student Accounts and Cashiers and the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office, just to clarify things for your particular situation. It's best to get the information straight from the horse's mouth.

If you don't pay by the deadline than you begin to accrue interest (I am uncertain of the amount). I hope this helps!
