okay, I know that most ppl on here are full-time/OSAP. however, I'm adding my 2 cents for anyone struggling with the Part-Time Canada Student Loan/Grant. I've found it difficult to find in the midst of all of the other OSAP information.

First and foremost, you download the forms end of June/beginning of July at the following (look for the pdf part of the way down the page):

http://sfas.mcmaster.ca/pt_facts_forms.htm

Print this off and fill it in. I highly recommend taking it to the financial aid office as they can discuss what medical or other proofs you need to attach to it. The part-time advisor is Mary Coccia if you need to book an appt.

When it's filled in with needed attachments (except section E which is done by Mac), hand it in at the front desk or put it in the drop-box. I believe somewhere on the form it says they (the government) accept applications starting July 9th - but Mac will take care of that for you.

After approval, you will receive a second form to fill out that asks for your banking information, etc. which is then mailed to the loan centre in Mississauga. Mary Coccia told me today that once again, the government is changing these forms... so like last year, expect some delays when you go to pick them up.

Don't know if that helps...
