So i've heard from people that going to classes is important during welcome week or is the GEK something to go to?

It was the best part of frosh week. the food enough was amazing. Don't bother going to class you just miss on a course outline which can easily be obtained the next class or online

Definitely go to class the first week. You'll find out what is expected of you in the course, which is pretty much the most important thing.

That is what the syllabus is for...

You only get to experience Welcome Week as a frosh once. Enjoy GEK!

I would definitely go to GEK! I met some of my closest friends at the event and many of my friends I met there as well. It is SO much fun! So many different activities ranging from a camp fire, live bands, bbq, to swimming and other sports as well!

If you have more question about GEK find one of the engineering welcome week reps during the week and they can answer your questions!
