Has anyone taken geo 1hb3? how is the course load? and is it a bird course?

Pretty bird, but it depends on whether you can memorize a lot and can write well for labs and assignments. I had an 11 for that and wasn't paying much attention...

Took it last year with Dr. Peace. The lecture content is pretty straight forward. Some memorization here and there, but, if you pay attention, when the tests and exams come, the questions will seem like common knowledge. The tutorial portion can be a bit tricky depending on your TA and there is a major project at the end that you do with a partner and have to travel into the city. Overall, it's a pretty easy course and you can expect a 9 or 10 if you keep up with everything, but if you put in some moderate effort you'll definitely end with a 12
