Where to get a Capo?
Does anyone know where to get a Capo (for a guitar) around campus?
The one place Westside Music closed down a few weeks ago, and I don't know any other music places close by.

That's where I got my capo, lol. I'm glad that placed shut down... Never met a ruder bunch of musicians. >_> They didn't deserve income.
But asides from going up the mountain (which you can just google on how to get there), I don't really know where else to direct you. Never seen a close guitar shop, asides from that one.

Absolute Music is on Upper James, which requires the 27 instead of the 25 or 26.

Check out Payne Music - 222 King Street E. I got my capo there.
http://www.paynemusichouse.c om/
It'll be a lot easier to get there than going up the mountain.

Not too sure where that one on king is, but you can definitely get a capo at a store called "Picks and Sticks" which is on Locke Street. If I recall, the store is pretty much beside the Starbucks (and for sure on the same side of the street)
EDIT: I just google mapped Payne's Music. Picks and Sticks is definitely closer..

It might be a little far if you just need a capo, but my favourite music store is Mountain Music at Upper Gage & Mohawk. They have a great selection of guitars and amps and the guitar tech there is really good.

Who was the owner? The woman was a female dog and the stupid ginger kid was even more of a female dog.

Why not just use a wristband, it's easier to move around mid song if you need a quick change and holds the strings down well enough to not have any buzz.
