Welcome to
Global Citizenship Conference 2010 "The Power to Empower”
The aim of the Global Citizenship Conference 2010 is to bring about a greater understanding of the power all people possess as members of a global community. In doing so, delegates will use their roles as socially conscious global citizens to empower themselves towards learning, collaboration, and ultimately, positive social change.
Presentations at the 2010 Global Citizenship Conference will take a variety of forms in order to meet the needs of a wide range of presenters, participants and topics. There will be facilitated discussion groups in which delegates are encouraged to discuss about their own past and newly created personal experiences, and listen to the experiences of others. These open spaces aim to encourage a better understanding of the issues and to take these ideas forward in order to become a more conscientious global citizen.
