The 2012 Global Engineering conference is all about bringing engineers together to talk about the future of our profession. This unique environment will engage students and industry representatives alike in interactive discussion regarding how engineering students can best be prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century. Society is demanding a new generation of engineers that embrace complexity, communicate effectively, and focus on their positive impact on their communities and the world.
Highlights include:
-a panel discussion about the future of our engineering education featuring Dr. David Wilkinson (Dean of McMaster Engineering), Ms. Jacinta O’Brien (CEAB and Engineers Canada), and Dr. Jeffrey Casello (Associate Dean Undergraduate Studies and School of Planning, University of Waterloo)
-a networking event to connect 1:1 with industry representatives from Halsall, Hatch, GE Water, Chrysler, Trivaris, and MORE! (bring your resumes!)
