ive read that there is a go bus that goes to york u. is this true and would this be faster than taking one that goes to union station since i live in thorhill... also where do i buy the tickets

I'm not sure if they sell tickets anymore, but you can get a presto card from compass I think it's the same price or cheaper than tickets. The 47 go bus takes you to york u, it definitely is faster than going all the way to union
yeah you should invest in a Presto Card.
They'll set you on "Student" fare and the amount deducted when you tap on at McMaster and tap off at York U will be the lowest possible for you.
you just need to load the money online.
ALSO, the presto works on the YRT/VIVA so when you hop on the VIVA purple to get back to Thornhill you just need to tap it at the VIVA station near the Archives of Ontario building
