Iunno; I was over the moon that Bon Iver won. Some amazing music. The uproar about their win makes me wonder if people are more upset about his lack of popularity or because their music is genuinely "bad" - which speaks a lot to what the Grammies are considered to be.

It's pretty weird that Bon Iver won Best New Artist (not saying they didn't deserve to win, they're a great band) considering they released an album back in 2008. Even if the award is really a Best New Mainstream Artist, as it sometimes seems, it's still weird because they're still not well known.

Ya, I agree... For Emma came out in... 2007 I believe? he is certainly gaining popularity though. I heard that they asked him to perform at this year's Grammys and he refused... lol

loved the beach boys reunion and foster the people's cover of "wouldn't it be nice"- good to see Brian Wilson back on stage- guy was a real musical innovater
