Wow, drooling at that BFR! I assume you idolize John Petrucci then?

I do very much enjoy his work, I mostly bought it because I wanted 24 frets, locking tuners, piezo pickup, tremelo, 7 strings and a think neck + low action. It was worth the money since I couldn't find anything else with all those features that I liked the look/sound of.

The BR-80 recorder's pretty cool, you can plug it into any stereo system that uses an ipod style headphone jack, so you can use computer speakers, headphones, car stereos, etc as amps with good low volume quality if you can't crank up your nice amp and you want to practice.

The Valve Junior is now a different animal. Haha. Cleaned out the guts and rewired it
point to point based on a Fender Champ.

Oh nice, so I'm assuming you mic those beautiful amps? Have any recordings?

Also, Jman. does that Boss BR-80 act as an amp sim too then? Sounds pretty cool

Yeah it works as an amp, has a ton of built in effects too.
Here's a quick example of what you can do with it on the fly (line out from the recorder was put into my computer's line in)

Here's something that I quickly whipped up. It's not the best, but you get the idea
on how my setup sounds.
