What happens...
...when a 1 x 10^72 mile diameter, 1 x 10^72 kg/m^3 density asteroid hits the earth?

Infinity hours...

Good thing Earth has great neighbours like big old Jupiter and those other gas giants to take most the hits for Earth.

But dayum! Earth's fragile on it's own...

1e72 is a stupid huge number though lol.

I cant even think of a comparison, earth to a cell is too small a ratio for something of that size compared to earth lol.

if you see something that big even BEGIN to approach our solar system you can pretty much pack it in and call it a day, we had a good run, repent.

Interesting fact: hydrogen nuclei are thought to exist as a crystal lattice structure within Jupiter...

Deja vu? haha

(I don't know why you edited that post out, it's quite an interesting fact, although probably didn't help that nerd comment above too much)

I like to keep my super awesome limited edition posts up for short periods of time, then I change them to something generic, angsty, or needy.

Interesting Fact #2: A spherical asteroid with the above properties would have mass of 250 orders of magnitude greater than the estimated mass of the observable universe.
