I have a question
So my first term I have 15 hours a week
and my second term I have 17 hours a week
When comparing that to a couple of my friends timetables, just seems like a low number
Is it because of the classes I have, or am I missing something? My course load is 15 units / 15 units, so I donno

Oh and hi, first time poster but been registered for a bit

Are your friends in the same faculty as you?

Are you a science student?
Are your friends engineering students?

If you answered "no" to the first question and "yes" to the second, please hang up and try your call again.

Engineers have the most class. Science has almost as much. The rest of the school just chills during the day eating ice cream.

...yummm.... ice creammmm.....

Ya everybody has a different amount of hours depending on their courses and programs. Don't worry about it

It depends on what classes your taking and program. Most of the variation is from tutorials and labs. Some people may have 3 classes that have a labs and tutorials while others may have only 2 classes with one lab. Engineers have to take 6 courses so they may have 4-7 extra hours of school then say someone in life science

you may have more hours in second term because one of your classes has a tutorial that first term didn't or you may have a lab
Overall shouldn't compare how many hours of school you have in a week as everyone's schedule is different

(If they were exactly the same courses I would double check SOLAR)

I just checked, and term one I have 14.3 hours of class. Like the guy above me said, your friends are probably in science programs. I have a friend in Intergrated Science (I think that's the program he's in) who has 31 hours of class per week Term 1.

You're in business.

You're allowed to chill.

Yup, it's mostly the labs and tutorials. I have 9h of labs a week. Which brings me to 24hours of class per week. Joy.
