How have you customized Mac OS X?
I bought my mac in June and I was wondering how people here have customized their Mac OS, not the physical Macbook unless it's a mod that increases usability.

1. KeyRemap4Macbook. Replaced the DVD drive with an SSD, remapped the eject key to forward delete (read: actual delete and no backspace)

2. Alfred.

4. Flexiglass and HyperDock to snap winds and manage them from the Dock, also move/resize windows by dragging them from anywhere.

5. Pathfinder.

6. Spark, for all things that the default Keyboard shortcuts utility can't do.

7. Used to use killmouseaccel before I got a Microsoft Mouse, the intellipoint tracker doesn't do that acceleration thingy.

8. AppCleaner.

That's what I can name off the top of my head. Here's hoping people have customized their Mac OS....

Take a look here --->http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...1.html?t=47251 Look through the thread, there were some very helpful people

There is actually quiet a lot that can be done when it comes to customization

What my screen used to look like before I reformatted osme time back

As for productivity side. I used to use http://magicprefs.com . You can assign custom guestures to your track pad and magic mouse. There are a ton of additional gestures you can add, or even hot spots/corners.

Once upon a time, when I was still on SL:

I don't use Alfred, or Quicksilver, as some people do. I'm used to Spotlight so switching is too much of a pain.

Not really customization but some apps I used/use:
smcFanControl
f.lux
Caffeine
Bowtie
Last.fm scrobbler
Fantastical

I also used BetterTouchTool to remap some trackpad gestures.
