You should call Student Accounts and Cashiers. They can help.

Check your payment agreement, and then go pay on MUGSI -> Student Accounts.
Although I'm pretty sure you're always allowed to pay in full...

You can pay in full but if it was a term 1 course then they probably started charging interest already.

Interest is charged for both terms starting at the end of the month the session starts. In this case it's May, so interest won't be charged until the 31st (and it's a monthly compounded interest rate).

My mistake, it does say on the last day of the month but for whatever reason it actually says may 30th.

Quote:
Interest is calculated at an Annual Rate of 14.4% (1.2% per month) subject to change. A full month's interest is calculated on any unpaid balance on the last day of each month starting September 30 (May 30 for Spring/Summer).
Edit: Or maybe that's a typo... Once again McMaster with an awesome record at having conflicting information on multiple parts of their websites. I think this is the 4th conflicting information I've come across in the last couple years:

Quote:
Interest is charged at an annual rate of 14.4% (1.2% per month subject to change).
A full month’s interest is calculated on any balance owing on the last day of each
month starting May 31.
