Health plan covers eye exams?
Hey,

Does anyone know if Mac's health plan covers eye exams? If it does, what % does it cover?

Thanks in advance!

"Vision Care
One (1) eye examination will be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of $50.00."

Is the mcmaster health plan, covered in the tuition, only for students who live on campus or is it for anyone who includes it in their tuition? and how does it work (do you pay for eye exams etc or not, do you only see health care professionals on campus or can it be used anywhere in hamilton?) does it also include dental?

All MSU members (18+ units) are automatically enrolled in and charged for the health and dental plans. For those who already have coverage, they can opt-out and get their money back.

This is what it says on paper. However, on the claim form for your exam, write in the full amount instead of $50.00. I did this and they paid for the whole thing!
