I will soon be attending engineering co-op 1 at mcmaster. Want to know whether anyone is selling there old 1st year text books.

Hey John, welcome to Macinsiders and McMaster University To be honest, it's too early to be buying your textbooks right now. Some profs might change the edition or something, even though it might not matter, but it's better to wait until September.

Not for a while. Wait it out. Most people don't buy their textbooks until 1-2 weeks into classes. It depends on the professor. Even then, sometimes they switch up the required textbooks. Their will be a surplus of 2nd years trying to get rid of 1st year textbooks when you get here. I'd would highly recommend waiting until then.
