Help with enrolment
I want to get into Automotive engineering, and I'm currently in my last highschool year.
tldr; because I'm a refugee my schedule last two year is kind of messed up. I've technically took two extra years, I'm turning 20 this year.
Enough personal info, Im taking adv functions in summer school, and calculas in priv school.
so im pretty late.

A friend of mine in mac said that I could get into Social Sciences, or Humanities, and after first year I can switch my program.

How easy is that, and what are the prerequisites.

I dont have grade 11 physics yet. can I take that during first uni semester in OVS to archive the prerequisites.

Thanks

Advanced Diploma from Mohawk College in Mechanical Engineering Technology
Business Management Certificate from Mohawk College
Co-op: Mandatory - 12 months, 3 terms

No supplementary documents required for admission.

Target Enrolment: 240 students

For Humanities:

https://future.mcmaster.ca/programs/humanities/
https://academiccalendars.rom cmast...=32&poid=18468

The following are the minimum Grade 12 U and M requirements:

English U
Completion of additional U or M courses to total six courses
The Faculty of Humanities strongly recommends that you select at least one Grade 12 U or M course from Humanities subjects (Art, Drama, English, French, Français, other languages, History and Music). Note: In addition to Requirement 1 above, Biology U is strongly recommended for students planning to enter a Cognitive Science of Language program.

Yes, Humanities would be easier to get into admission-wise. You would need the pre-requisites for Engineering as you mentioned. Physics being one of them. You could switch to apply for getting into Engineering, but most Humanities courses wouldn't overlap with Eng courses. The Eng 1 program is quite structured.
